Paul Hastings Awarded "Asia Securitization Deal of the Year" by IFLR
Paul Hastings received International Financial Law Review's "Asia Securitization Deal of the Year 2006" award for its role as advisor to Citigroup and Macquarie as joint arrangers of a 3 year US$145 million commercial mortgage-backed securitization (CMBS) transaction. The deal was the first cross-border CMBS transaction in China. Paul Hastings was the sole U.S.-based firm to win an award in this category.
The Paul Hastings team was led by partners Neil Campbell, Michelle Taylor and Vivian Lam, together with Richard Ambery, Donna Healy, Erika Wan and Heidi Pang.
IFLR's annual Asian awards recognize the most innovative and complex deals, and the deals' legal advisors, across such categories as M&A, equity, debt and equity-linked, securitization, projectfinance and insolvency and restructuring.
