Paul Hastings Appoints Stephen Korniczky Chair Of The Global Intellectual Property Practice

New York(June 6, 2005) – Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP (Paul Hastings), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce today that Stephen Korniczky, resident in the San Diego office, has been named Chair of the Global Intellectual Property Practice.

Stephen Korniczky has been lead counsel in numerous patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright lawsuits and has substantial experience handling nationwide patent and trademark enforcement campaigns against multiple infringers. Over the past sixteen years, he has successfully represented both publicly traded and emerging companies in the computer, communications, semiconductor, internet, consumer electronics, automotive and medical device industries. Mr. Korniczky received his J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo and his B.S. from Polytechnic University, New York in Engineering. He is a member of the California state bar.
