Paul Hastings Advises the Underwriters in Huadian Fuxins Hong Kong Listing

Hong Kong (June 27, 2012) - Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that it represented CITIC Securities, UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the Joint Global Coordinators in Huadian Fuxin Energy Corporation Limiteds (Huadian Fuxin) US$319 million global offering and listing of its H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The transaction comprised a Hong Kong public offering and a Reg S/Rule 144A international offering.
Majority-owned by state-owned power utility China Huadian Corporation, Huadian Fuxin is a leading diversified clean energy company in China which engages in the development and operation of hydro power projects and coal-fired power plants in Fujian province and wind power and other clean energy projects throughout China.
Huadian Fuxin is the second successfully closed H-share listing that Paul Hastings has advised on in 2012. In April, Paul Hastings advised on one of the regions largest IPOs this year representing the underwriters in Haitong Securities US$1.68 billion Hong Kong listing.
