Paul Hastings Advises Joint Bookrunners on Chaliecos Hong Kong IPO

Hong Kong (July 6, 2012) - Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that it represented CICC and GF Securities as the joint bookrunners and joint lead managers in China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation Limiteds (Chalieco) approximately US$172 million global offering and listing of its H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The transaction comprised a Hong Kong public offering and a Reg S international offering.
Chalieco is the engineering design and consultancy, engineering and construction contracting as well as equipment manufacturing arm of state-owned aluminum producer Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco).
This marks the third successfully closed H-share listing that Paul Hastings has advised on in 2012. In June, Paul Hastings advised the underwriters on Huadian Fuxins US$319 million Hong Kong listing. Earlier this year, Paul Hastings advised the underwriters in Haitong Securities US$1.68 billion Hong Kong listing, which marked Hong Kongs largest IPO for the first half of 2012.
