Paul Hastings Advises Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs on Sunac Chinas US$336 Million Hong Kong IPO and Global Offering

Hong Kong (October 7, 2010) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has advised Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch (Deutsche Bank) as the Sole Sponsor and Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C (Goldman Sachs) as the Joint Global Coordinators, Bookrunners and Lead Managers, in the US$336 million Hong Kong IPO and global offering of Sunac China Holdings Ltd., a Tianjin-based property developer. The listing comprised a Hong Kong public offering and a Reg S/Rule 144A international offering.
This transaction follows the successful completion of numerous capital markets transactions by Paul Hastings over the last three weeks. These include Changfeng Axles US$103 million Hong Kong IPO and Franshion Properties private placement of up to US$600 million of perpetual subordinated convertible securities, as well as over US$1 billion in Hong Kong equity offerings in which Paul Hastings advised both issuers and underwriters, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, CCB International Capital Limited and China International Capital Corporation.
