Danaher to Acquire Integrated DNA Technologies

Palo Alto – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm is serving as legal counsel to Integrated DNA Technologies, a privately-held life sciences company, in connection with a definitive agreement under which Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) will acquire IDT. IDT’s primary business is the manufacturing of high-quality, custom DNA and RNA oligonucleotides.

The company has developed proprietary technologies for genomics applications such as next generation sequencing, CRISPR genome editing, qPCR, and RNA interference.

The Paul Hastings team was led by Corporate partners Jeff Hartlin and Steve Camahort, with support from partner Jim Smulkowski, Dan Stellenberg, Jane Song and Michael Wise.

The transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018, is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
