CIMC Vehicles Completes Spin-off from CIMC and Hong Kong IPO

Hong Kong – Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has advised China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (“CIMC”) on the spin-off of CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd. (“CIMC Vehicles”). CIMC Vehicles subsequently listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. CIMC, headquartered in China, is a world-leading supplier of logistics and energy equipment, while CIMC Vehicles is a leader in the global semi-trailer industry.
Paul Hastings has a longstanding relationship with CIMC and has represented the company and its subsidiaries in a number of significant transactions, including CIMC-TianDa’s acquisition of Shenyang Jietong Fire Truck and CIMC’s landmark listing of H-shares converted from B-shares.
The Paul Hastings team was led by Raymond Li, global partner and chair of Greater China, and Zhaoyu Ren, corporate partner and vice chair of the firm’s Hong Kong office, with support from associate Joanne Wong.
