La Française REM Acquires the Maison Bayard building from LaSalle IM

Paris - Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised La Française REM acting on behalf of an institutional investor in connection with the acquisition of the company that owns the "Maison Bayard" building in Paris.
The building is the first modular wood-framed building in the Central Business District. The building offers 8,165 square meters of workspace and services, with 740 square meters of patios and gardens, to accommodate approximately 740 workstations. It will be occupied by the law firm Dechert LLP, the independent renewable energy producer Neoen and the corporate real estate consultancy Strategies and Corp.
Paul Hastings advised La Française REM on this transaction with a team led by Jean-Louis Martin (partner) and included Quentin Jobard and Tom Chanseau (associates).
La Française REM was also advised by KPMG (Jean-Etienne Chatelon, partner and Xavier Loran, associate) on the tax aspects, by Préjean (Pierre Préjean) on the accounting and financial aspects and by Wargny-Katz (Nicolas Masseline, partner and Pauline Hervie, associate) on the notary aspects.
