Jonathan C. Hamilton Named Co-Chair of the Council of the Americas Trade Advisory Group

Hamilton, global co-chair of the firm’s International Arbitration practice, has been named co-chair of the Trade Advisory Group (TAG) at the Council of the Americas (COA). Hamilton will co-chair the group alongside Carlos Felipe Jaramillo, the World Bank’s vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean Region.
TAG is a leading platform for policy-level discussions and advocacy on trade and investment in the Western Hemisphere. Comprising member representatives and invited experts, the group is dedicated to open markets and rules-based trading systems. In his role as co-chair, Hamilton deploys his deep knowledge in investment and dispute resolution to drive strategic discussions on economic growth, investment protections and international trade policy.
Hamilton is recognized as a leader in cross-border investment and global dispute resolution with decades of experience advising on high-stakes international matters across the Americas, and worldwide.
