Foxconn and Lordstown Motors Enter Into a Transformative, Strategic Partnership

New York – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, represented Hon Hai Technology Group (“Foxconn”), one of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world, in connection with its entry into a definitive Asset Purchase Agreement to purchase from Lordstown Motors Corp. its Lordstown, Ohio facility for $230 million.
The Lordstown facility was one of the largest internal combustion engine automotive plants in North America and is now being converted into a state-of-the-art EV manufacturing facility.
Representing Foxconn, M&A partner Mike Huang, led the team, which also included associates Tianzi Wu, Celina Hong, and Anna Hardcastle.
