Paul Hastings Moves Growing Washington DC Office To New Historic Location

Firm Expands Office Capacity To Re-Developed Bowen Building As A Result of Continued Strong Growth
Washington, DC, January 19, 2005 - - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP (Paul Hastings), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce the move of its Washington office to one of D.C.’s historic landmark buildings. The move to a larger space is a direct result of the continued growth in business the office has had over the last few years. The firm will be moving to the historic, but newly-renovated Bowen Building, located at 875 15th Street, NW.

Paul Hastings, which is projected to have 125 attorneys located in Washington by the end of 2005, up from 100 attorneys currently, is the lead tenant in the building. The Bowen building is located at the southeast corner of 15th Street and I Street, just two blocks from The White House, Executive Branch Offices and the US Treasury. Paul Hastings, which will occupy 112,000 square feet (out of 220,000 total), worked closely with the developer to design a building specifically tailored for a leading international law firm. These features include the conversion of retail space into office space as well as a state-of-the-art conference center with two-story ceilings, the use of innovative global conferencing technology and the addition of Paul Hastings signage in the building interior and exterior.
