Paul Hastings Represents Silk Road Group on First- Ever Trump Projects in Central Asia

New York, NY (March 10, 2011) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Silk Road Group S.A., a leading private investment company in Central Asia, on an agreement to license the Trump brand for the construction and development of two luxury properties in the Republic of Georgia.

The two projects, which represent the Trump brands entrance into the Central Asian real estate market, include the development of more than 100 residential units in the resort town of Batumi and a tower hotel in the capital of Tbilisi. These projects are expected to be the first phase of a total investment of $250 million.

Both Donald Trump and the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, signed the agreement today at Trump Tower in New York. Corporate partner David M. Klein handled the representation of Silk Road Group.
