ArchiMed Acquires the Carso Group

Paris – Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP has advised the exiting shareholders of the Carso Group (Vendôme Parc Participations, EMZ, RAISE, Siparex, Unigrains and Etoile Capital) in connection with the LBO on the Carso Group, structured by ArchiMed.
With more than 2,600 employees in France, the Carso Group is a leading French player in the field of analytical services, such as testing, inspection, certification and bioanalysis for a wide range of industries, including water, health, construction, food, energy, agriculture and pharmaceuticals.
On this transaction, the Paul Hastings team was led by Olivier Deren and Sébastien Crepy (partners) and included Amaury Steinlin (associate) on the corporate aspects, Allard de Waal (partner) and Alban Castarède (associate) on the tax aspects, Stéphane Henry (partner) and Alexandre Ruiz (associate) on the employment law aspects, and Camille Paulhac (partner) and Juliette Hua (associate) on the antitrust aspects.
