Overview

Robert Williamson is an associate in the Structured Finance practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s London office. Mr. Williamson’s practice focuses on capital markets, structured finance, securitization, CLOs, and private CLO equity funds.  He advises issuers, originators, investment managers, lenders, and arrangers, having recently advised clients such as Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Albacore Capital, ICG, CVC Credit Partners, Ares Management, Neuberger Berman, Wells Fargo, and JP Morgan Investment Management.

  • Advised CVC Credit Partners on the structuring of a dual $600m and €600m risk retention fund
  • Advised on the establishment of Neuberger Berman’s debut €250m risk retention fund
  • Advised on multiple debt repackaging vehicles for ECM Asset Management (Wells Fargo Asset Management)
  • Advised on multiple CLO warehouses, issuances, refinancings, and resets, on both the collateral manager and arranger/lender side
  • Advised Albacore Capital regarding the launch of a €500m risk retention fund
