Nishu Prashant is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on the financing and development of infrastructure assets primarily in the power, renewables, oil & gas, and digital infrastructure sectors in North America.

Mr. Prashant regularly represents lenders, sponsors, private equity firms, and other financial institutions in a broad range of infrastructure, energy, and other financings.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Prashant worked at the United States Department of Energy’s office of the Assistant General Counsel for Energy Delivery and Resilience, where he supported several DOE program offices including the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, Office of Electricity, and Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response. Mr. Prashant worked full-time in the field of cybersecurity during his time at Georgetown University Law Center and was a staff member of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review, receiving his law degree in 2023. He is admitted to practice law in New York.
