Overview
Gisselly Perez-Astwood is an associate in the Real Estate practice and is based in the firm's New York office. Her practice focuses on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions and corporate finance matters.
Ms. Perez-Astwood has represented major financial institutions, real estate developers, private equity funds and other institutional investors on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, as well as corporate and fund finance matters. Her practice includes representing clients in connection with commercial mortgage loans, preferred equity investments, capital commitment-backed subscription credit facilities and acquisitions.
Education
Ms. Perez-Astwood received her law degree (magna cum laude) from Rutgers Law School in 2021, where she served as Symposium Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, Secretary for the Association of Latin American Law Students and Association of Black Law Students and Student Attorney in the Rutgers Law School Child Advocacy Clinic. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University, with a minor in English in 2017.
