Emily Madden is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure practice based in the London office of Paul Hastings. Ms. Madden has advised a number of leading private equity funds and asset managers and worked with many domestic banks across the energy and infrastructure space. Ms. Madden also undertook a six-month client secondment to a leading renewable energy company.*

- Advised EDF Renewables on its 50:50 joint venture bid with Simply Blue Group to develop the 1.35 GW Western Star and 1.3 GW Emerald floating wind projects.*
- Undertook a six-month client secondment at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland based in both the M&A and Onshore Technology legal teams.*
- Acted for a leading private equity firm in respect of its 100% share purchase of a £9 million target company.*
- Advised a leading alternative investment manager in connection with a security confirmation in relation to an existing facility agreement.*
- Advised a leading energy company on its proposed joint bid to acquire a 50% stake in each project SPV with a state-owned electricity company in respect of an offshore wind farm.*
- Advised a leading energy company in an acquisition of 100% shareholding in a target EPC solar company.*
