Overview
Tatum Sornborger is an associate in the Corporate practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Century City office. Her practice primarily centers on advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, covering areas such as acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and joint ventures, as well as on general corporate matters. Additionally, she offers her expertise to venture capital and growth equity investors on minority investments and similar transactions. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Tatum was an associate at Goodwin Procter LLP.
While working at Goodwin Procter LLP in 2023, Tatum concluded a four-month secondment at Marlin Equity Partners in Hermosa Beach, CA, where she gained a unique perspective on private equity from the client side. During her secondment, she was actively involved in the general corporate management of portfolio companies and played a key role in facilitating both buy and sell-side transactions.
