LLC, Barclays and Capitol One Securities as joint book-running managers in the offering of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes by Laredo Petroleum, Inc., an independent energy company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas properties, primarily in the Permian Basin of West Texas.

  • Braskem Idesa, S.A.P.I., (“Braskem Idesa”), the largest polyethylene producer in Mexico and a subsidiary of Braskem S.A. (“Braskem”), one of the largest petrochemical companies in the world, in the issuance of US$900 million of 7.450% Senior Secured Notes due 2029 pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S.

  • Caithness Energy, a privately-held Independent Power Producer specializing in the development, acquisition, operation, and management of renewable energy and natural gas development projects, in a $1.6 billion financing to develop an 1,875 megawatt combined-cycle natural gas electric generating facility in Guernsey County, Ohio.

  • City Football Group Limited, the owner and operator of football clubs, with total or partial ownership of clubs in eight major cities across the world: Manchester City in the UK, New York City FC in the US, Melbourne FC in Australia, Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan, Club Atletico Torque in Uruguay, Girona Futbol Club in Spain, Sichuan Jiuniu FC in China and Mumbai City Football Club in India  on its investment by U.S. private equity firm Silver Lake, which saw Silver Lake invest $500 million for just over 10% of the company’s post-investment equity.

  • COSCO SHIPPING Holdings, the largest integrated shipping company in China, on a voluntary general cash offer for all of the issued shares of Orient Overseas (International) made by the wholly-owned subsidiaries of COSCO SHIPPING Holdings and Shanghai International Port (Group) for a total value of up to US$6.3 billion pursuant to the Hong Kong Takeovers Code. This transaction was commended as one of the “Most Innovative Deals 2019” by Financial Times Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyers Report and awarded “Deal of the Year 2018” by the China Business Law Journal.

  • Francisco Partners in its agreement alongside Evergreen Coast Capital, to acquire of LogMeIn, a leading provider of cloud-based connectivity, for approximately $4.3 billion enterprise value.

  • Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. and Jacobs U.K. Limited in connection with a $1 billion term loan facility.

  • Mohawk Group Holdings, Inc., a rapidly growing technology-enabled consumer products company, on its IPO on the Nasdaq Capital Market

  • Saba Software, a portfolio company of Vector Capital, with respect to Cornerstone OnDemand Inc’s agreement to acquire Saba for US$1.395 billion in cash and stock.
