Juan Hernandez is an associate in the Investment Funds & Private Capital practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on structuring and organizing investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, registered funds, hybrid funds, and fund-of-funds. Mr. Hernandez advises clients on the establishment and operation of investment adviser businesses and provides ongoing regulatory advice related to these entities. He also advises a variety of institutional investors in connection with their investments into alternative investment funds.

Mr. Hernandez previously practiced in the Real Estate practice at Paul Hastings and at a top, publicly traded REIT. In his prior practice, Mr. Hernandez negotiated and advised on land sales and acquisitions, financings and developments, commercial leases, and other corporate matters.
