Visa Waiver Permanent Program Becomes Law; Includes H-1B Merger And Acquisition Provision

Yesterday, October 30, the President signed H.R. 3767, The Visa Waiver Permanent Program Act which permanently renews the visa waiver program. Under the program, nationals of qualifying countries may enter the United States as visitors for pleasure or business for a three-month period without first obtaining visas from United States Consulates abroad.
