Second Circuit Affirms Publishers Right to Reproduce Print Publication in Electronic Format

In a major victory for the publishing industry, the Second Circuit affirmed on March 4, 2005 that § 201(c) of the Copyright Act of 1976 permits the publisher of a collective work to reproduce the collective work in electronic format.
