The California Supreme Court’s recent decision to deny review of the Court of Appeal's decision in Daugherty v. American Honda Motor Co. may bring needed clarity as to the limits of California’s consumer protection laws, and prevent abuse of those laws from harming the state and national economies and ultimately consumers themselves.
