Consultation Conclusions on Proposed Changes to Property Valuation Requirements for Listing Applications

On 20 October 2011, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKEx) published Consultation Conclusions on Proposed Changes to Property Valuation Requirements. To implement the proposed changes, the Companies Ordinance and the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Listing Rules) have been amended and such amendments, subject to negative vetting by the Legislative Council, will come into force on 1 January 2012.
