California Public Utility Commission Temporarily Suspends Opt-Out Provision of Edison Interruptible Program

In mid-October, the California Public Utilities Commission issued a decision temporarily suspending until March 31, 2001, the ability of interruptible customers of Southern California Edison served under Schedule I-6 to either "opt-out" of (i.e., terminate) the interruptible program or change their firm service levels. If you are currently an I-6 customer, your rights may be affected.
