Americas New Cybersecurity Framework: Help or New Source of Exposure?

A year ago, President Obama ordered the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to create a Cybersecurity Framework to guide businesses on how to evaluate risks and develop security protocols. Last month, the NIST followed through on that order. While compliance is currently voluntary, all businesses dealing with sensitive information should review the Framework and develop a plan to protect against and/or respond to a security breach.
