Pharmacy-What’s New for 2017?
February 13, 2017
Benefits Team
On April 1, 2017, Aetna will be making some changes to their pharmacy plan and specialty drug lists. The updated lists will include newly added brand-name and generic drugs.
Impacted members will receive an e-mail or letter about the changes. The goal is to provide you with the most cost-effective care. To do this, we suggest you explore all of your options. Choosing a prescription from the preferred drug list will typically result in lower out-of-pocket costs. The preferred drug list is based on the latest medical findings and information from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and drug makers.
