China Matters: China Adopts First Anti-Monopoly Law

On August 30, the Standing Committee of the National Peoples Congress adopted the Antimonopoly Law of the Peoples Republic of China after 13 years of drafting and deliberation and much anticipation by companies active in the Chinese market or competing against Chinese producers.
