Paul Hastings was awarded Equity Market Deal of the Year by Asia Legal Business Korea Law Awards held in Seoul, Korea, for our representation of Kakao's US$1 Billion GDR offering. Kakao is the operator of leading mobile and online platforms in Korea, and the deal marked the largest overseas-listed equity offering by a Korean issuer in a decade.
