Our panelists will share their expertise on conducting investigations and monitorships on behalf of multi-lateral development banks related to investments in the Asia-Pacific region and how best to manage compliance across some of these high-risk emerging markets.

About the Panelists
Shaun Wu is a partner at Paul Hastings and leads the Investigations and White Collar Defense practice in Greater China. He focuses on bribery, corruption, fraud, misconduct, compliance, sanctions and other enforcement matters in which clients rely upon his business knowledge and experience in China. As an individual, Mr. Wu has served as the World Bank’s Compliance Monitor and Investigator to state-owned enterprises and public listed corporations in the Asia-Pacific to assess and monitor compliance following debarment.
Christopher Kim is a senior managing director at Guidepost Solutions. He previously served as a senior investigator at the World Bank Group where he planned, managed and directed audits of multinational corporations and banks alleged to have been involved in fraud, corruption and/or collusion. He coordinated numerous sanction complaints and cases including with the Asian Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction, and the African Development Bank.
