20th Annual Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress

Joy Dowdle, vice-chair of Paul Hastings' Life Sciences practice, BJ D’Avella, group leader of Paul Hastings' Life Sciences Consulting Group, and Elaina McEwan, senior manager in the Paul Hastings Life Sciences Consulting Group, are speaking at the upcoming Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress in Tysons Corner, VA on April 25-27, 2023.

Joy and Elaina will participate in a workshop on April 26, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., titled “Building a Compliance Program from the Ground Up” with other industry leaders, including Piyush Sharma, chief compliance officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, and Daryl Kreml, vice president and chief compliance officer at Sage Therapeutics. This session will cover establishing a foundation of compliance using the seven elements of a compliance framework as well as methods to work effectively as a team to get organizational buy-in.

BJ will lead the wrap-up session for the interactive “Innovation Ideation Wall” on April 27, from 2:30 - 3:15 p.m., which will share the feedback received throughout the conference on innovation opportunities to enhance compliance capabilities to challenges and solutions.
