Symphony Technology Group to Acquire McAfee’s Enterprise Business for $4 Billion

San Francisco – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced that it advised Symphony Technology Group, a private equity firm focused on market-leading data, software and analytics companies, in a definitive agreement for the acquisition of McAfee Corp.’s Enterprise business for $4 billion.
McAfee’s Enterprise business has been the standard within the cybersecurity industry for more than 30 years as a leader for device-to-cloud cybersecurity solutions, and is a trusted partner for more than 85% of the Fortune 100 firms around the world.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2021, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
