Paul Hastings IP Practice Recognized as IAM Global Leaders Across Span of Offices
November 23, 2021
New York – The IP Practice of Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, has again been recognized in the latest edition of IAM Global Leaders for the third consecutive time. Bruce Wexler, the head of the Firm’s Patent Office practice, Naveen Modi, the Tokyo office IP lead, Hiro Hagiwara, and a new addition to the list, the Firm's head of the Firm’s Chicago and Midwest IP practice, Robert Unikel, were ranked.
The awards reflect the breadth and depth of Paul Hastings’ Global Intellectual Property Practice, with strong teams across multiple IP litigation disciplines and geographies. The publication draws on the IAM Patent 1000 and IAM Strategy 300 to identify the elite of the IP world and their ability to innovate, inspire, and go above-and-beyond to deliver for their clients. To qualify for inclusion in IAM Global Leaders, individuals must also be ranked in the Gold Tier of the IAM Patent 1000.
Earlier this year, Paul Hastings was ranked as one of IAM’s most sophisticated patent litigation practices in this year’s edition of IAM Patent 1000. “Paul Hastings is a prime destination for globally impactful IP disputes: with litigators standing by in the United States, Europe, and Asia, it is ideally positioned in terms of resources,” according to IAM, where the firm received top-tier Nationwide rankings in the United States, International, and Japan.
Paul Hastings’ Intellectual Property practice advises clients on important, complex IP matters, providing innovative solutions for clients’ challenges with a track record of success in high-stakes, bet-the-company patent and trade secret litigation and other IP disputes in trial and appeals courts, at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and the ITC, and in arbitral tribunals. The practice is ranked by Chambers and Partners, IAM, The Legal 500, Managing IP, and Benchmark Litigation in various areas, including patent, trade secrets, ITC litigation, and PTAB practice, as well as by BTI Consulting as a “Go-To Litigation Firm” and “Best for Complex IP Litigation” in its annual “Intellectual Property Outlook” report. Paul Hastings IP lawyers have been selected numerous times as Law360’s “Most Valuable Players” and as “Trailblazers” by The National Law Journal, The Recorder, The New York Law Journal, and The Daily Journal. The practice’s West Coast team is frequently honored for practice excellence, including being shortlisted for California – Intellectual Property Litigation Firm of the Year and Silicon Valley Firm of the Year by Benchmark Litigation.
