Joint Book Runners Manage Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. Public Offering of Class A Common Stock

NEW YORK-- Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Citigroup, BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo Securities and Morgan Stanley as joint book-running managers for Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc.’s (NYSE: BXMT) public offering of class A common stock. 

Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc., a real estate finance company that originates and purchases senior loans collateralized by commercial properties in North America and Europe, sold a total of 11,500,000 shares of class A common stock (including the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares) and raised gross proceeds of approximately $338 million. Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. is externally managed by a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group, L.P.
