Rachel Wu Hankinson is an associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice and is based in the firm's Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on patent litigation.

Ms. Wu previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Patent Trial and Appeal Board for the Honorable Jameson Lee, the Honorable Sharon Fenick, and the Honorable Iftikar Ahmed. Ms. Wu also detailed for the Under Secretary of Commerce for the Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, working on Director Review cases and policy matters.

Ms. Wu received her law degree from The University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as President of the Intellectual Property Law Association and Social Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
