Technical Advisor

Overview

Nathan Hepler, Ph.D. is a technical advisor in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office.  Dr. Hepler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Lebanon Valley College in 2013 and completed his Ph.D. in Plant Biology at The Pennsylvania State University in 2019.  Prior to entering graduate school, he completed a post-baccalaureate appointment at the National Institutes of Health.  He joins Paul Hastings following a postdoctoral appointment at The Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Hepler’s research experience includes a broad range of biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, bioinformatics, and genetics.  He has co-authored multiple scientific publications, grants, and fellowships.  Dr. Hepler has also presented his research at several national conferences.
