Paul Hastings Advises on Japanese Pachinko Hall Operator’s Hong Kong IPO

Hong Kong/Japan (April 14, 2015) - Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm advised Shenyin Wanguo Capital (H.K.) Limited as the sole sponsor, sole global coordinator, sole bookrunner, and sole lead manager on the global offering and IPO of NIRAKU GC HOLDINGS, INC., a Japanese pachinko hall operator, on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The successful listing marks the second Japanese company ever to obtain a primary listing in Hong Kong.

Paul Hastings previously advised JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. on the first two secondary listings of Hong Kong depositary receipts by Japanese companies, namely Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., the largest Japanese clothing retailer in Asia Pacific (with brands including UNIQLO), and SBI Holdings, Inc., a Japanese internet-based financial group.
