
Overview
Pooja (Pia) Rai Singh is an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's New York office. Pia has a broad litigation practice, representing individuals and businesses on a variety of complex and commercial litigation matters in state and federal court and in arbitration. Her practice also includes intellectual property matters in the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Pia has helped clients protect their highly valuable inventions, including important drug products such as Comirnaty®, Uptravi® and Opsumit®.
Pia maintains a robust pro bono practice, representing clients in asylum proceedings in Immigration Court and representing clients in partnership with the Duke Wrongful Convictions Clinic.
Prior to attending law school, Pia worked as a mergers and acquisitions analyst in the biopharmaceutical industry. She has consulted for and represented multiple of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies by revenue.
Accolades
Pia was the winner of Boston College Law School's 2022 Mock Trial Competition. She was also a semi-finalist in Boston College's 2021 Client Counseling Competition.
