Overview

Matthew Schwartz is a partner in the Financial Restructuring group at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Schwartz represents hedge funds, private equity and other investment funds, public and private companies, ad hoc and official creditor and equity committees, and lenders in the structuring, negotiation, financing and implementation of mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and restructurings and workouts. He regularly advises investors and companies in a broad range of corporate, securities law, capital raising, corporate governance and strategic matters.
