Overview

Emma is an associate in the Litigation practice and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on antitrust and competition law, with an emphasis on complex civil litigation, government investigations, class actions, and cartel defense. She has represented clients in state and federal court, as well as before enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. With experience in discovery, motions practice, multidistrict litigation, and alternative dispute resolution, Emma advises and represents clients across a diverse field of industries including agriculture, consumer products, healthcare, retail, and technology.

Emma previously interned for the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and served as the Senior Articles Editor for The George Washington Law Review. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Represented consumer products companies and insurance providers in consumer protection actions involving false advertising, unfair and deceptive trade practices claims, False and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and Drivers Privacy Protection Act.

Represented various corporate clients in response to FTC Civil Investigative Demand and Consent Order investigation and compliance.

Represented senior executive in DOJ criminal investigation for price fixing and bid rigging.
