Paul Hastings Represents the Republic of Croatia on $900 million Motorway Financing

London (November 30, 2007) – Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm, announced today that the firm advised the Republic of Croatia on the financing of Phase 2A of the Istrian Motorway PPP Project, and the refinancing of the existing debt for Phase 1 of the Istrian Motorway. The financing of the deal was provided by Royal Bank of Scotland, Socéité Général and Zagrebacka Bank. The lenders were advised by Allen & Overy. The transaction, which closed on November 30, 2007, is valued at approximately $900 million.
