Overview

Sam Thomas is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on antitrust and competition law, with an emphasis on complex civil litigation and class actions.

 

Sam has represented clients in federal courts, state courts, the International Court of Arbitration, American Arbitration Association, and JAMS, and has substantial experience representing plaintiffs, defendants, and third parties across an extensive range of matters. Because of this broad base of experience, clients rely on Sam to protect their interests, no matter the stage or type of litigation.

Sam's pro bono docket focuses on affirmative asylum and removal defense, through which he has represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. In law school, Sam worked in the GW Law Immigration Clinic, where he represented clients before USCIS and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and in Immigration Court.
