Overview
Max Rosenberg is a partner in the Investment Funds & Private Capital practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Rosenberg represents private fund sponsors and investors in all aspects of structuring, documenting, offering, negotiating and operating private funds and related investment vehicles, including real estate, credit, infrastructure, and private equity funds, as well as co-investment vehicles and continuation vehicles. He regularly develops structures and terms on behalf of fund sponsors ranging from large financial institutions to leading middle-market managers and select emerging managers, and negotiates with leading public and private pension plans, sovereign investors, insurance companies, foundations, endowments, fund-of-funds, private wealth channels, and other institutional investors from around the world.
Mr. Rosenberg also assists private fund sponsors on upper-tier transactions including management company sales, minority (GP) stakes, seeding arrangements, revenue sharing arrangements, and other strategic platform transactions.
Mr. Rosenberg received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Levy Scholar, and earned a Business, Economics, and Public Policy Certificate from the Wharton School. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from UCLA.
Mr. Rosenberg serves on the firm’s recruiting committee and is co-chair of the New York office summer associate program.
Mr. Rosenberg also guest lectures at the Fordham Real Estate Institute on Real Estate Fund Formation, Regulation, and Documentation.
