Overview
Christine Walsh is an associate in the Derivatives practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. Ms. Walsh advises clients on a wide range of derivatives and related matters, and her practice spans all asset classes and product types, including over-the-counter and exchange-traded transactions in credit, equity, commodity, crypto, energy, interest rate and foreign exchange.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Ms. Walsh was in the Derivatives practice at another major law firm advising investment banks, fund managers, corporations and other end users on the structuring, regulatory analysis, and documentation of complex derivatives and related products across a broad range of asset classes. Prior to that, Ms. Walsh was in the Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Insolvency practice at another major law firm representing mainly bank creditors and other parties-in-interest in Chapter 11 cases, out of court restructurings and financial matters. Particularly, Ms. Walsh represented multiple financial institution clients in derivative-based valuation disputes in Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and its affiliated debtors.
