Overview
Caitlin Devereaux is an associate in the Entertainment and Media Litigation practice of Paul Hastings. Ms. Devereaux advises clients regarding a broad range of complex legal issues arising in the entertainment industry, including contract and licensing disputes, copyright and trademark, defamation, and other commercial litigation matters.
Ms. Devereaux began working on entertainment matters while still in law school at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Devereaux interned at the USC Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic, where she counseled clients from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and USC Games program on issues such as copyright and fair use, defamation, and intellectual property agreements. Ms. Devereaux also interned at the Sundance Institute preparing contracts for the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Prior to law school, Ms. Devereaux worked in brand strategy and digital advertising with a specialty in content marketing.
