Paul Hastings Advises PSP Investments and AviAlliance on £1.53 Billion Acquisition of AGS Airports

Paul Hastings LLP advised the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (“PSP Investments”) and AviAlliance GmbH (“AviAlliance”), one of the world's leading private airport investors and operators, on the acquisition of AGS Airports, the owner of Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton Airports, from Ferrovial and Macquarie for an enterprise value of £1.53 billion.

AviAlliance is the wholly-owned airports platform of PSP Investments, one of Canada’s largest pension investors with CAD 264.9 billion of net assets under management as of March 31, 2024.

Energy and Infrastructure M&A partner Jessamy Gallagher led the Paul Hastings team, which also included partners Candice Lambeth, Nikolaos Paschos, Ruth Knox, and associates Jo Lee and Emily Madden. The team also included Energy and Infrastructure finance partners Stuart Rowson and Ally McKechnie, and associates Pascal Despard and Matt Bastion; and Tax partner Jiten Tank and associate Jee Yoon Chung.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in Q1 2025.
