Paul Hastings Bolsters European Projects Practice with David Manny in London

London (April 4, 2008) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm, announced today that David Manny, most recently a partner in the project development and finance group at Vinson & Elkins LLP, has joined the firm as a partner in the Global Projects Group, resident in the London office. Mr. Mannys practice focuses on project structuring and documentation in the power, oil and gas, water, infrastructure and process-plant sectors, with an emphasis on construction matters.
Representing sponsors, project companies, lenders and contractors, Mr. Manny has extensive experience advising upon concession arrangements, PPAs, PWPAs, gas supply agreements, sales and off-take agreements, throughput agreements, oil storage agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, purchase orders, operation and maintenance contracts and technical support agreements.
David, along with the recent addition of the Paris PPP team, will greatly bolster the cross-border projects practice, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in the US and Asia, said Jonathan Simpson, Partner and Head of the European Projects practice.
