WOMEN LEADING CHANGE in Government - The 50X50 Challenge

Thursday, April 19 5:00 PM GMT to 9:00 PM GMT

London, United Kingdom

10 Bishops Square

London , UK

The Paul Hastings Women's Initiative will host a series of events in London entitled WOMEN LEADING CHANGE. The first session in the series will be held on Thursday, April 19.

With rapidly changing geopolitics, global business shifts and massive industry disruption regarding gender parity, there has never been a more poignant moment in history for women to advance as leaders. It’s time for new voices, new approaches and new innovations to emerge to better reflect the current market environments in which we all operate.

Insights from the upcoming 2018 Wilson Center Women in Public Service Project's Global Women’s Leadership Initiative Index will be shared and actionable solutions to achieve gender parity on a global scale – 50% by 2050 – will be explored.

Join us for discussion on these themes:

  • What does the landscape of women’s leadership look like today in the public sector & the private sector?

  • What changes can be made to break down barriers for leaders of the future?

  • How can the private sector better support the evolution of the public sector and vice versa?

  • What policies have already proven successful to advancing gender parity and what still remains to be done?

  • What innovations are necessary to push the agenda of women and what role does data and technology play?
