Use and Abuse of State Funding in the Covid-19 Era

Countries around the world have passed stimulus packages to address the economic recession caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. On Thursday, March 4 at 10:00 am (GMT), our partner and  Asia Head of Investigations and White Collar Defense Shaun Wu is speaking at a webinar organized by the Inter-Pacific Bar Association titled “Use and abuse of state funding in the Covid-19 era”.

The panel will address the specific stimulus plans enacted in Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Singapore, U.K. and Switzerland, with a focus on best compliance practices for companies and financial institutions, the types of fraud and abuse of the programs each country is seeing, and the government's approach to investigating and prosecuting those abuses.
