Turkey and the Ukraine: Investing in Real Estate

The fast growing real estate sectors in both Turkey and the Ukraine continue to gain prominence, attracting western investors on an almost daily basis through the prospect of high yields and considerable capital appreciation.
The panel will look at the current market positions, whether future prospects are as promising and where to find high yield real estate investment projects in these markets.
They will also consider the key legal and tax issues which should be considered and the practical challenges which are faced when carrying out real estate transactions in these markets.
The panel will include representatives from a major investment fund, a global brokerage firm, and a major debt provider together with Paul Hastings.
